Welcome to Shop Yanga. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Shop Yanga mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

            Important: Shop Yanga is an offline-first business management tool. You are solely responsible for the security of your device and the backup of your business data.
        

1. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username and password).
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to disable any account if we believe these Terms have been violated.

2. Use of the Service

Shop Yanga provides tools for inventory tracking, sales management, and business reporting. You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes.

You may not:

Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or hack the Service.
Use the Service to store or transmit infringing, libelous, or otherwise unlawful material.

3. Data Ownership and Responsibility

You retain full ownership of all business data (inventory, sales, prices) entered into the application.

Offline Storage: Data is stored locally on your device. If you lose your device or clear app data without a backup, your information may be permanently lost.
Data Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial and inventory records maintained in the app.

4. Subscription and Payments (If Applicable)

While basic features may be free, certain premium features (like AI insights or advanced reporting) may require a subscription. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or the specific terms of the app store (Google Play/Apple App Store).

5. Intellectual Property

The Shop Yanga name, logo, and the software itself are the exclusive property of Shop Yanga and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your business operations.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHOP YANGA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malawi, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
